A fine and subtle spirit dwells
In every little flower,
Each one its own sweet feeling breathes
With more or less of power.
There is a silent eloquence
In every wild bluebell
That fills my softened heart with bliss
That words could never tell.
– Anne Brontë
Most of these were taken on our property; a few are from the arboretum. I even braved our “scary woods” (scary to me, because of spiders – I am very allergic to them) to photograph the vacant hillside behind us.
Grateful thanks to each of you who stops by, and to the lovely new followers here. I know who each of you are! It still amazes me that you take the time from your busy lives to wander here. You are all fine spirits and I wish you a week of sunshine and hearts filled with bliss.
(Soon I will be writing more here, finishing a huge project now at which point I shall take a deep, deep breath and gather up all the threads of communication which have unravelled somewhat in recent weeks.)

Oh ! All these lovely Bluebells ! You are so lucky to see them in this abundance ! I have planted a couple of these about 15 years ago, but only one survived – this one flowers just now too ! BTW – no, I did not yet find that Dogwood bush I want to plant, but I have not yet visited all the garden centers here around….wish me luck !

This last bluebell image is breathtaking… the patina background, the stamp and cursive writing all work beautifully together to make that one sprig the star of the show;-)

Yes, I think you may have a few more bluebells on your property than me! I have alot, and of course they spread like crazy!
I love them when they're in bloom, but hate the chore of cleaning them up afterwards.
I still have about 30 shots sitting on my computer that I haven't gone thru or posted, just of these little flowers. So much to do!
Thanks as always for sharing your magic:)

Just been directed here from Mademoiselle Poirot and am so pleased to discover Bluebell. A flower I really do miss from the UK, where our home for over twenty years was surrounded by bluebell woods.

I don't even know what to say. I need to move. I need to pack up my family and my stuff and head across the country. I want to be your neighbor.
Georgianna says
That's so sweet, Relyn! You are welcome to visit anytime! There are a few places in my neighborhood for sale, but I think you would hate the traffic in Seattle. :)
