Snipped from the garden this afternoon to say thank you for your touching and appreciated comments on my last post. Each one means so much.
Sleep is a distraction, and D has to remind me that I missed lunch, and sometimes dinner, too.
I am obsessed, but happily so.
(In between, I’m preparing another image collection for our agencies and editing 20 hours of video footage down to 30 minutes, with mixed success so far.)
Special thank you to Judith who kindly featured my work on her wonderful blog and made one of my images much more special in the beautiful frame she has. Please do visit her – she is a Master Gardener with a charming garden and wonderful, informative posts.
Several of you are facing some stressful days with worry over family. I understand and send all positive thoughts your way.
And to all, wishes for a joyful weekend, dear friends! I so hope it includes some quiet moments with nature and special people.

THey are all so beautiful. I sometimes feel the same way, like I am going to miss something. I try to remember that sometimes just seeing or experiencing it is just as special.
Also~ we'd love to see a photo of your fridge full of flowers :) LOL

While my son is away with a load of my stuff for storage, and before he takes my computer, thought I would run over to see your gorgeous roses and hydrangas! All are sooooo beautiful, but my fave is the very last photo. I forget to eat, and don't want to sleep, when I'm working with photos. If I had a garden, I'm sure my fridge would be exactly like yours. Have a super weekend!! See you when my computer is back in business. ♥

if and when i travel to your neck of the woods…it sounds like right now is the time to come? it sounds like your gardens are peaking, while many flowers here are faded and tired, as is the gardener in all this heat. funny you are so obsessed that you forget to eat…sustained by flower power! i understand…drink in this fleeting moment while you can….i totally get it! your love and passion for gardening is reflected in your most beautiful images.

Dearest G,
Somehow I missed your last post. I hope your day was filled with sweet memories of your father.
As always, your photographs are stunning. Each day we feel the season turning, and it is a little sad to let summer go. But with these changes, there is always something wonderful to discover. Your photographs say it all.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Zuzu

Dear G, Love the flowers around the hat, so lovely. It is sad to see summer blooms fade, but I do love the colors of autumn, the rust, orange, yellow, browns, reds with shots of green. The wonderful cool, crisp mornings. The touch of frost on leaves is so magical. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and take care. Jen

for me, there is nothing like a blue hydrangea. i absolutely adore them….no matter what we do, ours always grow pink with a purple blush. very pretty, but not blue.
when we took an east coast trip some years ago we went to martha's vinyard and there were blue hydrangeas in every garden. big, huge shrubs of blue hydrangeas. i had never seen anything like that in my life and i fell in love…..
i love your bench and especially love the detail on the beautiful table. it looks like it was stripped of it's old finish and i love the bareness of it.
beautiful photos, georgianna..
hugs, cindy
