Some scenes of autumn’s waning glory, as russets and vermillions segue into golds and coppers, and the gentle drift of petals and leaves tucks the earth in against the coming frosts.
My sincerest gratitude to you, yes, YOU, for visiting and commenting so generously on my last post. I read your comments to D and we are very tickled that you enjoyed the little tour of our garden and loved that so many of you want to visit (or move in!).
The leaves are truly falling now, and although D has begun raking the front lawns, the back lawns (that you saw in the photos) are off limits to rakes each year until I’m finished with photos. We are planting new hydrangeas and roses and rhododendrons and soon it will be cool enough for the 200 new narcissus and tulip bulbs.
♥ A NEW SALE ♥
And now, I’m happy to announce a new sale in my shop – with an extra special bonus for all of you.
Throughout November, all prints in my shop – including any custom orders – are Buy One Get One FREE. Readers of my blog here will also receive an additional surprise print as a special holiday gift from me to you. You don’t have to follow or comment or anything, just leave me a message in the “note to the seller” that you are a regular visitor here. This is only for YOU, I’m not promoting or offering it anywhere else. Okay? I thought that might be fun.
And I’m working on a few new downloads for you, too.
Hope you’re having a marvelous week!

Hi G
Love the coppery hues of the leaves you captured, very nice photos.
Also the roses in the teacup look so sweet as they portray a couple of favourite things.
I'll be visiting your shop soon.

These are all so gorgeous, as is all of your work, but the 4th one? Absolute perfection!
Lovely, I always learn a tidbit more on composition while viewing your photos. They are amazing. Thank you.
Simply beautiful, love the softness of these shots. A lovely treat.
Hi Georgianna,
I love the coppery tones – the teacup and roses photo is my favorite.
I didn't buy any new bulbs waiting for the $2 blowout sale that I caught last year but to my disappointment they didn't have it this year and all the bulbs seem to be sold now.
Carolyn
Beautiful! I love the fall colours, even the cooler temps. Just don't like the snow if it shows this year.

Hello
I missed your last post (too much work, too little free time) BUT I want to move with you also:) I love your house, it so different what we have here and you have such beautiful trees, I love the red one. We don't have those trees here (just little ones) because they don't survive our winter.
Nice vintage effect in this post, I love it
