Hello everyone and happy new week! Stopping in to share a few images from Septembers past and to announce the winners of the second giveaway.
Last night wind and rain awoke us but the day unfolded with piercing blue skies and scudding clouds. Autumn is poised for an entrance but so much is still summery here. Rose bushes arrayed with new buds, hydrangeas with starry clusters of petals and dahlia blooms dazzling with bright color. Although the storm sprinkled the lawns with leaves, all but a handful are still deep green and we skipped among them during our game of badminton, the shuttlecock dancing around in the breeze.
And now, the winners of the second giveaway are: Gill and Michela!! Congratulations! (David himself pulled the names out of my French straw hat.) Please contact me with your addresses. Thank you again to everyone who entered. What a fantastic turn out. Shall we do it again soon? :)
A few quick notes:
We invite you to enjoy breakfast in Paris with a new post “Le Petit Dejeuner” at Paris By Two, now live!
And the 20% discount on all 2012 calendars and mini calendars ends September 30th.

I always find it funny that the seasons seem so different in our separate parts of this world! I envy you that your summer seems to last so much longer than ours and you have blooms long past when ours are fading. These flowers are just stunning, what colour and what beautiful sunlight. Our weather has been a struggle lately, lots of grey skies and rain, so it's a pleasure to browse through your blog and find some much light and colour :)
