Can you stand any more blossoms?
You see, our Blireiana Plum trees are at their show-offy-est peak, the sun was beaming and I couldn’t resist!
But the plums aren’t alone:
Along with ‘Tete a Tete’, these are always the first narcissus to brave the spring. I just adore their golden crowns.
More bulbs popping up:
The leaves of this rhody smell divine – like rich spices.
The fancy ladies of woodland garden loved dancing in the sun today.
I hope you enjoy!
(Mostly photos today and not many words. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to those of you who sent prayers and thoughts over the weekend. Thankfully, D’s family in central Chile are all safe. Communication is still sporadic, some of them are without power and phone, and some have damaged property but all are in good spirits. He was due to leave for there tomorrow morning, even before this happened, for his parent’s anniversary. Now he will go as soon as the airport is open. Love and hugs to all.)

Such love and safety to all your loved ones. These photos are like hope and joy. I send that to your family. The nests are a glorious addition to the never boring blossoms. I love that bird house! I have one so much like it and that blue and white give me a happy peaceful feeling. Thanks for all this beauty this morning. Blessings.
Glad to hear that D's family is safe in Chile. I was worried too b/c some of my family was in Hawaii for a wedding but they are all safe as well. These cherry blossoms are SOOO gorgeous, I wish we had some where we lived so I could capture images of them, although I am sure they would be no where as gorgeous as these!
Oh so so gorgeous! It's just a feast for the eye to see so many beautiful flowers. I can't wait for my helleboruses and crocus to start flower here. Have a wonderful week!
Lovely…
We are told by way of the radio that more snow is on the way….
now, I live in the south, where can I get some Global warming?
Again…lovely photos, sorry for the "rant"….smiles.
Very pleased to hear that your family are safe! :)
As for the blossom… I don't think there's ever such a thing as too much blossom – so, so gorgeous! We don't have even a hint of them here yet so this is a treat. Roll on Spring! I've never seen that multi-layer petalled hellebore before, it's beautiful. And the hyacinth… can almost smell them from here.
I'm so glad they're all okay. :) It'll take time to recover from the mess but I'm sure it'll be fine. <3
Lovely photos, G. I especially love the plum trees' blooms. They're truly gorgeous! The second photo is my favorite, just lovely! I've been using one of your photos as my desktop background – it's very fresh and always elicits a happy feeling! I always smile when I see it.
Thanks G for your beautiful work. <3 You're really amazing, and I can't stop saying that. Hehe.
I hope you're doing well, and have a great week, G. xx
oh dreams of Blossom, Spring is really early with you. It's so grey and dull here still and coold. But I have a little group of crocus that have braved the chill! So glad to hear your hubbies family are ok.
What a wonderful display of spring…the blossoms and pink pops of color are stunning! Thank you for sharing your early spring with us…she (spring) should be stopping by soon. So glad to hear your in-laws are okay. Even though I didn't convey this earlier…my thoughts and prayers were definitely with you. Big hugs to you, Kristi
These are so beautiful — truly a balm to my aching-for-spring heart! I'm so glad to hear that your in-laws are OK. This has been such a harsh season for strange weather and natural disasters!
G, I honestly don't even know what to say here. For starters, there are definitely NOT enough superlatives. These are really amazing. Really, really. Plus, I am SO jealous! We don't have anything blooming yet. What an amazing, incredible garden you must have. WOW, WOWEE, WOW!! WOW!!
Thank you so much, everyone! We just spoke via skype to D's parents and they are well. Building inspection for their condo showed some damage which is reparable. Sigh of relief! As for the garden, we are amazed at what is blooming already, too. We are hoping not to get walloped by a late frost. In the meantime, it's a pleasure to share! love to all – g xo
These photos are breathtaking and make me want to be transported to be in the midst of them immediately. Your work is so beautiful! Can you believe it is our last week of class:(.
such a rich collection of colour and soft petals here! they make quite a sight all together like this :D i see kat's butterfly now, it's very sweet, just the kind of image she would love!
what an enchanting and poetic garden ! here trees are still bare :)
Hi, your photos are so very lovely. Do you have any of the ones with the nest for sale anywhere?
Thanks
Ange
Hi Ange, Thank you so much! You're timing is perfect. I've just put some of them in my Etsy shop (link on right) but email me (g-lane@comcast.net) if there is a specific image or size you're interested in. Thanks again! – g
