…taken this morning to celebrate the Vernal Equinox.
A gorgeous, sunny warm day in Seattle, more like summer than spring…
I took Mom for a drive and a late lunch overlooking the waterfront in Edmonds.
And a then drive home to look at poshy homes in the poshy neighborhood of Woodway. Including an English mansion on a bluff overlooking the Sound. It would have been too intrusive to take a photograph, but think Manderley from Rebecca and you’d have it right. One of the most beautiful houses I’ve ever seen. Sigh. I hope your first week of spring is sunny and blossoming and full of magical delights! I’m working on a few things to share next week that I hope you’ll enjoy.
Happy Spring Georgianna! Sounds like you had a wonderful day with your mum. Lovely spring flowers that you share with us. I can't wait for the bulbs and trees to start flowering here too! Have a wonderful rest of the weekend! xo
Dear girl!!!! These are exquisite. I love coming to the magic here. You know, I think what you do is awaken us to the miracle that is living on this growing, giving Earth. I am not sure how to thank-you enough for that perspective. Know that your vision is appreciated. Keep seeing heaven. Blessings and light, Amy
Ooooh! Georgianna… Thanks for sharing all this beauty! The first photo in particular is simply a masterpiece. (I love vintage birdcages!). Here in Italy unfortunately still spring seems not so close today and these images really made my day! Ciao! Suze
Happy Spring to you too :-) I love the bird cage, I have at home too, but not quite as pretty and it's not filled with fresh delicate flowers either – not yet anyway ;-) x
Thank you, friends, for brightening my morning with your lovely comments.
Karin – I do hope you have bulbs and flowers soon, too. I look forward to your photos!
Amy, thank you. I've only really discovered how vital it is to be connected with nature in the last few years, a treasure that has changed my whole outlook on life. I'm so glad that's something we share.
