And a surprise…
Sunlight angling lower by the day gilds the simplest scenes.
I hope you are enjoying a memorably beautiful autumn, or to our friends below, a truly stupendous spring. I’d love to hear how you’re spending it.
Some of the images from my earlier post and some you haven’t seen before.
I’d like to thank two wonderful bloggers for featuring my work this week.
Sandy of Sandy a la Mode featured my Vintage Harvest note card set in her Flavors to Follow: Pumpkin post. Sandy’s blog is so lively and entertaining – one of my favorites and I know you will enjoy it.
And sweet Ivy of Grace and Ivy featured some of my tree images in this post. I’ve only recently become acquainted with her blog but it’s beautiful and she takes readers on the most fabulous Virtual Vacations which are so much fun, you will not want to miss a single one.
Thank you for your very much appreciated visits and comments on Les Roses Antiques post. You are truly spoiling me.

Oh it looks so summery and beautiful Georgianna! I love apples too. Here it's time to harvest the "late" ones. I just got in from photographing the frost that covered everything this morning. Congrats on being featured – so well deserved. And the calender looks so pretty. Happy weekend dear G. Hope you get more lovely weather! xoxo

Georgianna you so good. Apple photos are so beautiful and lovely effect makes them like photos from 60's or something like that. I like the feeling very much.

We are getting snow all ready some parts of Finland so winter is getting to start here and I miss summer so much.

dearest g,
your first photo totally captured me. is it just me or does the sunlight shine exceptionally nice and perfect in seattle as compared to malaysia? (something my best friend never told me about – she's in seattle too) :) i love it! and the bokeh details (whether intentional or not) are beautiful! i love seeing bokeh in photos. :) it's something i'd love to master when i get a hybrid camera, if i do. but yes, the color in the photo is just perfect!
i haven't seen a real apple tree because we can't grow them here. but from your photos, it looks beautiful. and i love apples too. ;) they usually substitute my lunch or something when there's no food at home. the bottom two photos of the apples are lovely.
and job well done on the calendar! i'd definitely love to visit the oregon coast when i have the chance to – looks like the perfect getaway!
and i got your hint, g. ;) will hit you an email soon. you're truly a sweetheart. thanks for your kind thoughts and words, and for being such a blessing. always.
much love. x

I wonder how you get the soft light of your apple tree photos. . .I am a novice photographer. Is it the natural light or your lens/filter or post-photo-doctoring?
