Although I don’t love winter, I can appreciate the serenity of the pale, silent calm which can accompany it. Working on this collection of quiet whites and creams from Paris reminded me of the beauty of that stillness.

And since it’s been ages since I did a giveaway here, I’m going to celebrate the season by giving away an 8″ x 12″ print every day for the next week starting tomorrow! I will ship worldwide so don’t be shy about entering.
To enter, simply choose your favorite print from either one of my shops (here and here) and leave me a note in the comments of which one you choose. If you are on my mailing list, let me know that, too, for an extra entry. (You can sign up here if you’d like).
Winners will be chosen randomly at the end of each day and announced on Friday, December 19th, here and on my Instagram feed.
I hope you win!
Happy Holidays!
love,
G
I am in love with your “Eiffel Tower in Fog” photo!!! It’s gorgeous…we went to Paris for the first this spring and it just perfectly captures how I feel about this amazing city. Thanks for the chance to win! (on your mailing list too)
Hi Susan, Thank you so much! I’m very glad the Eiffel Tower reminds you of amazing Paris. I’ll make sure you are entered also for being on the mailing list. Thank you for that! G
I love the photo “Bluebell Woods” , it’s so pretty and reminds me of my childhood !
I’m a member of your mailing list also :)
Thank you for the opportunity to win one if your prints :)
Hi Caz, Thank you so much. How lucky that you had bluebell woods in your childhood. This was my first visit and I was captivated. Such a magical experience. Good luck!
I love whites and neutrals, and these white photos are so beautiful! I especially like the Paris street scenes, in particular the last photo in this post (I couldn’t find it in your shop). How lucky you are to visit Paris so often!
xoxo Jill
Hi Jill, Thank you! (I probably didn’t get all the photos listed in my shop but of course you can have anything you’d like if you win. :) ) Hope you are having a great holiday. xoxo
While I would love to chose all of them, I think that Ocean Photography – Cannon Beach, Oregon, Haystack Rock, Waves, Mist, Sea, Summer, Fine Art Photograph, Wall Decor, is one of my favourites. I visit Seaside quite often and I love going to Cannon Beach and seeing Haystack Rock.
I am also on your mailing list.
Thanks for the chance
Hi Marlie, that’s lovely, thank you! There is really no coast like the Oregon Coast. Good luck! G
You ask an impossible request – choose a favorite! All of your work is truly outstanding, no kidding. If I “have” to choose one, it would be “Bonjour Printemps” of the Cherry Blossoms in Parc Monceau. I’ve never been to Paris, but in mind this photo captures what spring in Paris is all about! I’m on the mailing list as well, thanks for your generosity!
Thank you, Cole! If you only knew the lengths I went to to get to Paris at the exact moment of the blossoms. It was a nail-biter! Glad you like that image of Parc Monceau as it’s really a lovely place. G
Il est très difficile! But I think I would choose “White Blossoms at the Eiffel Tower”!
{Paris Photograph – White Blossoms at the Eiffel Tower, Spring in Paris, Large Wall Art, French Home Decor}
I think I am on the email list :~)
Merci beaucoup, Georgianna!
Merci beaucoup, dear Elaine! You are on the mailing list. :) Good luck!
Oh my, I love them all! After several looks through both links, “The Orchard” speaks to me!
I am already on the mailing list.
Hi Betty, Thank you so much. Lovely to have you join in. G
Your photos are the next best thing to being there :) The last one reminds me of the streets of Quebec City- have you ever been there?
Hi Cait, thanks so much. I have not been to Quebec City but it’s definitely on my list! Best in winter, yes? xo
Hi G! It’s been ages since I’ve last dropped by – am such a horrible friend. But I hope seeing your Facebook posts and page posts are sufficient. Your photos are always so beautiful and breathtaking, I can’t seem to choose a favorite!
But if I have to, for the love of fairy lights, I’d pick the Paris Photograph – Winter Evening, Montmartre. It’s absolutely gorgeous! If I were there, I’d just sit on the steps all day.
Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for this!
Have a lovely Friday, G! xx
Hello, dear Sarah! So good to hear from you. Those steps in Montmartre are very special indeed! Enjoy your holidays! xo
So hard to choose but I do really love Eifel Tower in Fog :)
Thank you, Andrea! Good luck! x
Oh Georgianna! How am I to choose?! You already know how much I love your work (and Paris). There are so many I “need” to have. The B/W metro prints and all the cafe menus (adore the one with the gold frame!), the pink scooter, Paris in the fog, the beautiful gold gate with the cherry blossoms, the architecture! Well, if I must decide, I choose the Gate with the cherry blossoms, but I will have to be back to purchase more very soon! Already on your mailing list, of course. Thank you for your generosity!
Mari
Hello, Mari! Thank you for all your kind words. Great to be connected up on FB. Wishing you Happy Holidays! G
I love the breakfast menu one!
Thank you, Angie! And I got you on the mailing list. :)
Every time I look at your photography G I marvel at the angles, architecture and always the flowers.
I have several of your photos in frames in our home already and to choose one, it would be Spring Promise – a robin’s nest and apple blossoms.
Thank you, Judith! I’d of course love to send that one to you. I’ll let Santa know also. :)
I love your Eiffel Tower photo https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/214914143/paris-photography-eiffel-tower-in-fog?ref=shop_home_active_17
I am a Francophile and adore your photography. You capture the beauty and essence of all that is French. Thank you for your artistry and creativity.
Thank you so much for saying that, Audrey. It means a lot that my images convey the French style. Good luck to you!
Hey, you. I am so excited about your giveaway – how like you to be so generous. OK. My favorite was impossible, But, I have it narrowed down to only 4. That’s pretty good – really. Well, five. Louvre in Winter, Red Barn, Letterpress Type, Fairy Lights… And, that one I loved of the flowers on the amazing tiles. Not in your shop, but likely my favorite.
Crossing my fingers…
Dear Relyn, I would love to send you the tile image, whatever you like. :) Good luck!
Do you know how hard it is to pick just one? They’re all so lovely, and take me right back to those beautiful streets. I’m going to have to pick Paris Photography – Opera Garnier, Ornate, Black and White Architectural Photograph, French Chandeliers, Wall Decor. I’m also on your email list.
Great, Chelsea! The Opera is really a stunning place. Over the top, actually! Thanks for entering and being on the list. x
Paris in the fog is amazing !!!!!! I mean- seriously.
If I won I would adore that one.
Thank you, Alisa!
I just love your work. Such beautiful photography. I looked at you shops and had a hard time choosing. But one did stick out to me. It’s the Pink Books in Paris. I just love books and that photo would look great in Zoée’s nursery.
https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/185746365/paris-photography-pink-books?
Thank you, Kathryn! I’d love to see that print in Zoée’s nursery!
Haha….just need to say I accidentally typed my last name in wrong. Can’t have that! Bélanger. There, that’s better.
You capture things so beautifully and I really enjoyed looking at your work. I would be overjoyed to win the lovely “Summer Flowers at Notre Dame” Thank you for your generosity!!
Thank you so much, Ruby!
Oh… how can I pick just one photo…I love them all !!
So I picked French Country Photography, Rose Garden and Cottage…
It was so difficult to choose just one; then I picked one of them, there was another photo which was so amazing…and another…and another…
You’re very sweet, Ritva, thank you!
I love these! Even better, I love getting to see Paris in the winter while I’m warm at home! The “Chandelier, Musee Rodin” above looks like an ‘S’ so I’m pretending that one is for me! I actually hear that’s the best museum in Paris (Louvre excluded) and I have yet to see it myself. I’d love to enter the giveaway and I’m on your mailing list! Favorites would have to be “Ranunculus”, “Dreaming of Spring”, “An Abundance of Peonies”. Happy Holidays!!
Hey, Suz! Yes, the Musee Rodin is wonderful. In late spring the rose garden is fabulous, too. Thanks so much for entering! x
Your work is so beautiful Georgianna. Such a generous and delightful giveaway!
A difficult choice with so many gorgeous photographs but I do love Paris in the fog :)
https://www.etsy.com/listing/214914143/paris-photography-eiffel-tower-in-fog?ref=listing-shop-header-0
Wishing you a wonderful Christmas and happy new year!
Wendy x
I appreciate that, Wendy Paula. I’ve been such a fan of your work for years. I hope you and your family have a fantastic time. I’ll be thinking of you in the sunshine – very stormy here right now! xo
I don’t usually enter giveaways, but I’m such a big fan of yours, Georgianna, that I just had to. Asking to choose a favorite is an impossible exercise, since each of your images is as beautiful as the next! But, because I absolutely love peonies, I would have to choose your stunning image: “The French Peony” for starters.
Best Wishes and Happy Holidays,
Angie Sacher
Thank you so much, Angie! I’m really glad you entered. I’m partial to peonies myself! Happy Holidays! – g
It is absolutely impossible to choose just one favourite :)
From the above selection it would be Chandelier in Musee Rodin and my long time favourites in your shop are the ones from Monets garden.
Thank you so much, Katerina! Loving so many of your recent images, too. :) xo
Dear Georgianna – you have set an impossible task each print is picture perfect – I leave the choice with you.
Hello, dear Rosemary, That’s a lovely thing to say. I will pick something special for you. Happy holidays!
These are stunning!! And I’m with you – not a fan of winter at all!! Hope you are well!! love to you and D!!
Hey, T! I’m glad you like them. :) Well here but busy as always. Lots of love to all of you, too. x
Dear Georgianna,
Thank you for this gorgeous giveaway! It’s so hard to choose between so many beautiful photographs, but I think this is one of my favourites – London Underground Sign – https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/101442271/london-photograph-the-underground-sign?ref=shop_home_active_20. I’m on your mailing list too.
Best regards,
Ivana
Hi Ivana, Thank you so much! And for being on the mailing list. Good luck to you!
All of the photos are beautiful, but I love the Marais turret photo. :) And I am on your mailing list. Thank you!
Thanks so much, Veronica. I’m glad you like that image – it’s a new one from one of my latest trips. Good luck!
As I was going through your lovely photographs this morning, I was smiling. Every image is perfect and it is so hard to decide on one. Peonies are my favorite flower. But the one that caught my eye when you posted it was The Gondolier. Thanks again for the giveaway and keep the gorgeous photos coming….
Hi Raschell, Aww, thank you so much! I have a huge soft spot for my Venice images, too, as it is such an incredible place. Happy Holidays to you! G

I love all your work!!!
Thanks so much, Katherine!
Well I have to say, your work is always beautiful but these are just beyond gorgeous! Love, love! Soo … I choose “Eiffel Tower in fog,” although “Musee Rodin staircase” comes a *very* close second (not that you asked for a backup choice, am just sayin’) ;)
Thanks so much, Nat! You are certainly allowed a back up. :)
Your photographs are so peaceful. I look forward to perusing more of them! What a nice gift your calendars would make. If I had to choose a print to frame, Paris brouillard with the Eiffel Tower is classic and lovely with your own signature use of light and white. Wishing you holiday joy, & merci for the giveaway chance!
Merci beaucoup, Michele! Bon chance to you!
Wow,I checked your gallery two times because I just couldn’t pick only one picture, they’re all amazing….but I choose “City Lights Photography – Urban Winter Holiday Scene” because it really gives me chills …I love it so much and find it special. Thanks for the chance to win one of your amazing photos :-)
Hi Georgianna, what a fabulous giveaway……if i was to choose it would be the chandelier, from the Rodin Museum ..love the pale stone and beautiful stairway, serene but solid, cold but intriguing…xx Kay
Thank you, Kay! It’s a really beautiful museum.
I love all your photos, I wish I had a bigger place so I had more room to hang your photos! My favorite would be Roses on a Paris Balcony. I love the dark roses against the light background.
That’s so sweet, Jessica, thank you!
Hi Georgianna, I’ve always admired your work and it’s truly difficult to choose a favorite! I guess I would go for “Paris Photography – Musee Rodin Staircase”. This particular picture brings back great memories of my last visit there.
Wishing you happy holidays and thank you for the chance to participate in this giveaway.
xx, Su
Hi Georgianna,
I have always admired your work and it is truly difficult to pick a favorite. I guess I would go for “Musee Rodin Staircase” as this one brings back memories of my last visit.
Thank you!
Warmly,
Su
Thank you so much, again, Su! I’m glad that it brings back memories of Paris!
I don’t know that I can say that I have one favorite…I have so many! Holiday Fairy Lights, Birch Trees in Snow, Paris Peonies, April in Paris, the Pink Poppy. I could go on and on. Miss you G! xoxo, Kristi
Hello, dear Kristi! I miss you, too! Was just writing a Christmas card to you! :) xoxo
I like Macarons! :) You have a lot of talent :)
Thank you, Jeff, and for stopping by!
Hi there, I just found your instagram last night and I am up this morning going through the website and it is sooooo beautiful. I am drawn to so much especially the flowers. I am especially in love with the pink dahlia …cafe au lair.. It’s so pretty and delicate and reminds me so much of my mother’s love for flowers.
All your work is pretty.
i can’t decide! But I’ve narrowed it down to “fairy lights” and “eiffel tower in the fog”. Your work is beautiful, Georgianna!
Hey Shannon! So glad you are here and entering the giveaway. You know how much I love your work, too. x
I totally love “Paris Photography – Carnavalet Museum Garden, Fine Art Photography Print, Neutral French Home Decor, Large Wall Art”
Hi Molly, that’s super, thank you! An image we recently added to the shop. G
I have many “favorites”, but have selected “Floral Fresco” for my contest choice. I would love to learn more about the editing processes to capture this beautiful look. I bookmarked your post, “Points of Focus” to serve as inspiration. “Among the Lavender” draws me in to that field, but I found your series from The Palouse particularly stunning. You inspire me in many ways. Thank you for publishing your work for all to see.
Hi Donna, I really appreciate this and am so glad that my work offers some inspiration. I am planning a series of tutorials for the new year and will keep in mind this series. Good luck!
Hi Georgianna, i love ‘Paris at night’ with the beautiful street lamps. It makes me wish i was at the same place with my photography as i am now when i was last in Paris which was quite a few years ago now – and by the way, you are an absolute inspiration to me whilst i continue to learn and study photography!
Hi Jo, Thank you so much for this. I do hope you get back to Paris soon with your more advanced photography skills. It’s always an evolving process!
I love ALL of your photography, but my very favorite, (today), is Monet’s Water Garden! I would absolutely love to have this one!!!
Hi Devon, Thanks so much!
I really love looking at your photos and seeing your blogs.
The photo that speaks to me at the moment is Abundance of Peonies.
Thank you, Karen!
such fun for me to recognize places i have actually been and photographed tho not as beautifully as you have ..
Thank you, Daryl!
Amazing Paris in white!
What a thoughtful giveaway. I would love to be entered and can’t make up my mind between Winter Photo-Barn in Snow or Bluebell Wood, there are both gorgeous. If my name is drawn, I will let you decide.
hugs Jen
xox
Thank you so much, Jen!
This collection of whites is stunning.
If I am chosen, I’ll leave it up to you. Surprise me. :)
Btw, I got my calendar order and I love it! Thank you!!!
I’m so glad, Gail! Thank you!!
I love Paris in white.
Yes, I would love for you to win this, my dear!
It suits you!
Dear Georgianna,
I love all of your photos – and to choose one is “hard work”.
Leafing through your pictures now was a passtime to go with my coffee – and I remembered the places I was so happy to visit years back with my daughter then.
I must go to Paris again soon ! And buy myself a decent camera before the trip…
I would like best the picture of the door at the Petit Trianon. It promises a surprise behind the door….
Thank you for this great offer and opportunity.
kindest regard,
your fan Martina
Thank you so much, Martina! I do hope you get to Paris again soon. xo
How generous of you, Georgianna! Is it too late to enter the giveaway? I knew from the start what photo to choose, it’s probably my very favourite photograph of yours: it’s “Young Boy with Soccer Ball”. It left me speechless the first time I saw it and it still does. It is simply timeless and I couldn’t place it in any particular decade if I didn’t know when it was taken.
All the best,
Ada
You’ve caught all the charm of Paris in these enchanting photographs of yours, my dear Georgianna, but to say that your photos are gorgeous it seems such a little thing to me !!!!
Tell me that I do arrive in time for your giveaway … anyway it’s so hard to choose one gift … If I had to win I’d love to receive your Garden Versailles calendar 2015 as a gift, what a precious gift to me !
In the hope to meet you again before than Cristmas, I thank you so very much with all my heart and wish you a beautiful joy-filled weekend.
With love
Dany
Oh, Georgianna!
These lovely whites stir the soul in quiet and reflective ways – so romantic!! <3
and, as for which print I would like to win? Well…. being a methodical girl, I started going through them all and made it halfway through the second one but, now, something has come up and I have to go…. not sure…. should I do macarons in the kitchen or pink flowers in my bedroom (it's a beautiful taupe with white painted furniture and pink accents….) so, perhaps, if I were desperately lucky and won, I could narrow it down, then?
In other words, "oh, ack! How could one ever choose?!" :P :)
xxo
Oh! Hahaaaa! Too late! :) Never mind! :)
xxo
and another ‘Oh!’ I forgot to get back to you… thank you so, so, sooooo much for your kind comment (ages ago) on my Sleeping Beauty post! It meant a tremendous amount!!! :)
xxo
You’ve caught all the charm of Paris, my dear Georgianna! Just so marvelous! And how generous of you to share your talent, a lovely giveaway indeed.
Have a fabulous Christmas time! Buon Natale e Felice Anno Nuovo. xo
Paris is amazing but your photos are dreamlike Georgianna! :)
Thank you so much, Anna!
Oh my goodness, I just may pin every one of these images! So lovely to connect with you…Bonne Année!
