Hello, my friends! I’ve been working on some new print images to bring you an abundance of beauty, joy and a little armchair traveling as well. Above is a magical peony garden in north Washington State, owned by a friend of mine who generously lets me visit and take photographs and, afterwards, insists on filling my trunk with buckets of blooms. This image was taken when I was shooting my book, Peonies, and I thought you might love, as I do, the way the petals reach to the sky and seem to become part of the clouds. (You can find the print in the shop here.)
This new print is of a dew-bedecked lavender rose from Japan called “Sweet Moon”, taken at a vast garden that we visited in Belgium. The International Rose Garden of Coloma, outside Brussels, Belgium, has sections devoted to roses from specific countries and regions. The Japanese section was certainly a favorite, with many unique and exquisitely-colored roses.
This Parisian chair photograph, taken at a Paris Perfect apartment, is one of my most popular images but until now has only been available in a 5″ x 5″ size. However, I’ve had so many requests to offer it in a larger size that I’ve now made it available in the shop from 8″ x 10″ to 30″ x 45″.
And, as part of the London in Bloom campaign, I’ve put together four new sets of cheerful London images. Above, the “Pastel Houses Collection.” Below, the “Spring in London Collection“. This features cherry blossoms in front of St. Paul’s and at Regent’s Park, and a sweet house in Knightsbridge, actually called “The Pink House”!
London is well known for its cherished and lavish displays of wisteria. Some of the vines adorning historical homes are over 100 years old! Wisteria spotting in London is a much-loved and serious activity that has become known as “wisteria hysteria.” As a tribute to this annual purple parade, I’ve created the “London Wisteria Collection“. Sizes for all the London sets start at 5″ x 7” and are very affordable.
London is colorful, no doubt about it! And it’s not only pink and purple. London blues are a refreshing and calming presence. Here are white cherry blossoms framing Tower Bridge, lovely buildings in Hampstead and delicate white magnolia blossoms in Notting Hill, all in the “London Blues Collection.”
Let me know in comments other locations you’d like to see represented print collections.
I hope these have brightened your day!

Hello Georgianna,
I am writing to let you know how much I love the Bloom in the City book I got given for Mother’s Day ( a very specific request of mine). They take me to such dreamy places and as I plan for my French Trip, I feel it will addS such richness and depth to my trip. Thank you.
I have a request, will you consider doing a Bloom in Kyoto book? I have been to Kyoto many times over during the Sakura season, and together with its gorgeous alleyways, tea houses as well as desserts both western & traditional, it’s makes such marketable book. Happy to share photos with you so you can be inspired.
Please do consider.
Always a fan,
Maggie,
Sydney, Australia

Hello, Maggie, and thank you so much! I’m so happy to hear that. And I hope you have a marvelous trip to France! As for Kyoto in Bloom, my publisher and I have discussed doing a book on Japan but at the moment there are no firm plans. It would require me relocating to Japan for a period of time and I’m not able to do that with current commitments. I do appreciate your thoughts on it, though, and, as I’ve spent quite a lot of time in Japan, I do agree about how photogenic it is. Thank you again for writing and your kind words about the book. Best, Georgianna
