Bonjour, mes amis!
I’m truly honored and delighted to announce that a number of my images, including this cover photo, are included in an enchanting new book from Victoria magazine entitled Our Hearts are in France. I took the cover photograph a few years ago in the town of Domme, in the exquisitely beautiful Dordogne region. Domme is a fortified hilltop town and has been named one of the “Most Beautiful Villages of France.” On this particular day, David and I had spent several hours exploring. As evening fell, we drove out of the village via one of the winding streets that led through the old gate of the walled fortress. The scene took my breath away and I had him stop the car so I could capture this lovely French moment. It is such a thrill to have the image shared in this exceptional publication.
I can’t show you everything just yet but a few more of my images in the book include the ornate Parisian building on the Contents page (lower right) and the opening spread for the Paris section of dawn over Pont Neuf (below).
A companion to last year’s Our Hearts Are in England, this new book offers page after page of quintessential French villages, interiors, countryside and cuisine. As with all publications created by Victoria, it celebrates romantic and gracious living, travel dreams, beauty and elegance.
Our Hearts Art in France is available for pre-order now here (where you can also see more pages in the sneak peek preview), for shipment in September.
And the cover image is available as a fine art print or canvas in my shop.
If your travel plans to France have been postponed, this book is perfect for an armchair escape to the country that so many of us adore passionately. I hope you love exploring its pages.
À bientôt!
xx
