Happy Holidays! Here is a peek at our holiday decor for this year. It’s still a work in progress but I’ve gotten a few new fun ornaments and am enjoying the process since I am not on the usual book deadline (that will come later!).
I have a little “forest” of small flocked trees which I find very charming and sweet. I love them without any lights or ornaments.
In the Passage Jouffroy there is a year-round Christmas shop called La Maison du Roy which carries way too many temptations. Several of the ornaments I purchased there, while some came from my recent trip to the States.
I have several croissant ornaments. This one came from Michael’s in Seattle, as did the “Press for Champagne” ornament. The camera and purse came from local department stores here in Paris, and the “Phantom of the Opera” chandelier and crystal ballet shoes came from the Opera de Paris (Opera Garnier) gift shop.
I hope to post the full tour before Christmas but in case I run out of time, I hope you enjoy this peek.

The decorated Christmas tree was from the year-round Christmas store in Paris that I mention. I’m not sure if they ship internationally or if they have that one in stock.
