New image in my shop. :)
My hard drives arrived and I’m mid transferring 70,000 images so don’t have access to my photos right now. Therefore, I thought I’d share with you a little video slide show I created of some of my stock photos from our magical and perfect trip to England two years ago. We took a belated honeymoon in 2008 to celebrate our first anniversary on June 1st by renting a darling, ancient, open-beamed cottage in Kent for two weeks. Roses billowed over the hedgerows, ducks paddled on the village pond and all was right with that quintessential English world. Each morning we set out – photographing castles, cottages and gardens, gardens, gardens! I created a series of videos to promote our stock photo site but have never posted them here, so I hope you enjoy this one!

It occurred to me that it would be a fun idea to make June “Cottages and Castles” month here. I have sooo many images from that trip. What do you think?
Lovely wishes for a beautiful weekend!

Hi Georgianna,
I love how the beautiful rose looks like a painting.
I enjoyed the slide show too.Your trip to England sounds wonderful-it is beautiful there.
I put together a slideshow of our garden the other night to post and then couldn't figure out how to get it on my blog-I am technically challenged!
I would love to see more cottages and castles from Your trip.

I have just jumped from Janine's blog in South Africa to yours in in West North America and I am blessed with more roses as I love them so much … sorry if I am repeating myself but I love wild and garden roses and can't stop myself smelling their perfum and feeling their soft petals against my face :) and english gardens are delightful ! Dear Georgianna, I've just been catching up on your last few posts and all your pictures are absolutely beautiful! I love your youtube video of cottages and castles. The images are gorgeous! I visited England about 15 years ago, and they bring back memories of the beautiful countryside. All the best with transferring your photos. Wow, 70,000…!!!
G I enjoyed your slideshow a lot, such wonderful places you got to visit! It is so lovely that you and David both love to take photos, no matter how hard I've tried I don't think I'll ever get Daniel interested lol!!
Dearest sweet g, i hope you are doing well and all it's good. I came to have a look at all your beautiful photos again ~ they always make me smile! Have a lovely merry happy week and love to yoU!

Did you see Claudia's blog post about the package from yesterday (Monday). We're singing your praises all over the land!
Brenda
Cottages and castles, absolutely!x
Ohhhhhh gosh Georgianna, the Clouds of Roses is my new favorite photo of yours!! It's totally stunning!! Sorry to be MIA for so long. It's been so hectic around here. I'm still sorting and packing (40 years worth of stuff), helping my son and family with their packing and house hunting, starting my new blog and I've had guests. I'm also decluttering the "time robbers" from my computer, which means as soon as I get this move behind me I'll have more time for the important online things, like your gorgeous blog!! Hope all is well!! ♥
*sigh* so very beautiful! And thank you for the slide show. We visited England once, years ago now, but unfortunately went in March when most of the gardens had not yet opened! So all I saw of Sissinghurst were the two towers from the road… arrrggghhh!
