Meet Winifrede Walbaum, D’s niece from Chile who has been visiting for a few weeks.
Winnie is a film major, working on her master’s thesis final film project.
She is also the lead singer in a popular all-girl band in Santiago.
She’s been a most willing and gracious model for my recent forays back into a bit of people photography and playing around with my new Lensbaby.
Winnie has it all: exquisite beauty, fierce talent, abundant creativity and a sweet, playful nature of kindness and wonder.
Oh, and did I mention she can fly?

Erin, the whooshy kind of shots are with a Lensbaby Composer, 4.0 aperture ring.
Most of the others are with a Nikon 60mm f/2.8 macro. Some are with a Nikon 80-200 mm f/2.8 zoom.
