This morning I heard the very welcome and sweet opening notes of the first robin’s song this season! A day earlier than last year, which was earlier than the year before. This, of course, means that soon I’ll rise before the sun each morning, recording our glorious dawn chorus to share. This makes me positively giddy! To celebrate, here are some images I look last spring, lilac and Blirieana plum blossoms from our garden.
These four images are also now in my shop, individually and as a collage.
AND, I made a little hearts-and-flowers download for you, for your Valentine’s projects. You can download it here. (They are sized for a McGill 1 1/4″ heart punch, in case you have one. Personal usage only, thanks.) Enjoy!
Wishing you a Sunday filled with wonder and wonderful things!
love,
– g

What a pretty post. It seems we are all longing for spring. The nice thing about blogging is you get to see spring in bloom before it actually gets here and then experience it all again when it comes. Thank you for sharing your lovely photos and for the download.

Hello G
Robins are one of the first harbingers of spring here so I anticipate hearing that welcome song myself.
The flower hearts are pretty, an imaginative way to use the blossoms and thanks for the download gift.
You are most generous to your blogging friends and I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say how much we appreciate your gifts.

As always just gorgeous. We have seen Robins in the trees. They came with Cedar Waxwings looking for left over berries. It is much too cold for them yet.

Hi sweetie.
First look at this post and I'm in love. I love the flowers, and the hearts! They're so beautiful! And you took the time to arrange them so beautifully into "xo" and heart shapes! What's more lovely about them is that they're all fresh flowers! From your garden, I assume? :)
If only my boyfriend would find these beautiful hearts and print 'em out for me on a card or something! Haha. I always stumble upon beautiful things, and wished I could make them for a girl instead of my boyfriend. ;)
Hope you had a good Sunday, G! xx

Thanks Georgiana for sharing your beautiful work with us. If only I was artistic enough to do something with them, however I will still enjoy them. :)

These are so gorgeous. I too arranged some flowers into a heart shape late last year with Valentine's Day in mind. But I suspect it's going to pounce on me before I've had a chance to get my head around the date! I hope you are having a lovely week.
