Hello, my friends, and Happy September. We mark a gradual change in the year, don’t we, no matter which hemisphere we are in. I’m so glad you enjoyed tea at Ladurée! I promised a surprise or two and here you go. First, a peek at four of my new 2012 calendars, which you were so helpful in working out. And then, to thank you, my first ever giveaway, just for you.
See details here.

And now, to celebrate releasing the calendars and the opening of our new shop, I’m happy to announce I’m giving away one each of the new calendars PLUS an 8 x 12 Paris print from the new shop. So, each of the four calendar winners will receive a Paris print as well. (Winners will be chosen randomly and announced next Friday and you can enter no matter where you live.)
I’ve tried to keep this simple and fun to thank you for coming here. I hope it is! To enter:
1. Please visit our shop and choose which Paris print you’d like.
2. Leave me a comment here and tell me which one you chose. Make sure I have a way to contact you if you win.
That’s it! I don’t want to require you to become a follower or anything as I would only want you to follow along on this journey if you really want to. But I will say IF you win and you ARE a follower, there will be an extra something for you from my goodies brought from Paris. :)
Wishing you a memorable weekend filled with laughter and day dreams. No matter what is happening in our lives, there is always room for those, isn’t there?

Oh, how amazingly beautiful all your calenders look like! I just adore the Monet´s Garden Calender. I really really like to win that! So I defenately want to be a part of your lottery and hope to win your give away. I visited your shop and the print that I loved the most was "Petit Dejeuner". And yes, I am also your reader. My contact information is intianminttu(at)gmail.com. Have a nice weekend!
Gail Dixon (Louisiana Belle) says
Oh, how fun! Am I first to comment?
It took me a while to narrow down choice of a print if I win, they were all so wonderful in their own way. But the black and white or sepia image of the Rue de Bievre street scene would match perfectly the tones in my home office.
Thank you for such a generous give away!
Gail Dixon (Louisiana Belle) says
Oops, I was 2nd. Guess I spent too much time browsing in your store. ;-)

We were in Paris in the spring of 1973, traveling by Eurail with backpacks. DH had just gotten out of the US Navy, we were stationed in Spain, and we toured 9 countries in about 60 days. Paris was wonderful and our hostel was a block or two from the Notre Dame. We spent 6 days there.
The photo I choose from your gallery if I happen to be the winner will be Le Petit Zinc Restaurant.
I love your calenders, especially the Monet Gardens. I wish we had visited them when we were there, but we were into visiting art museums back then. The David Austin roses calender and the peonies calenders are beautiful too.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful photography with us. It is always so inspiring and uplifting.
I've been a follower of yours for a little while now and always enjoy visiting here.

Oh how amazing is this! I'm too excited! Pick me already! :D
I absolutely adore the Paris calendar! Everything about it, the images that you took, totally breath-taking, G!
And oh yes, the print of my choice would be the Eiffel Tower View one – "I dreamed I was in Paris". Because really, I'm really REALLY dreaming of being in Paris right now.
Your photos just took me away to a lovely daydream. I've been a reader for a long while now! :)
If you can't find my email address, here it is again: sarahtay89@gmail.com

I so look forward to reading your new posts. The beauty that you and your husband capture is such a gift to the world. ( the bird song audio clip combined with the french village shots was incredible!)
I have been admiring your new Paris Plus etsy shop for days now and adding to my already large wish list of your work.
What a difficult thing to have to choose just ONE! Very difficult indeed, but I would say: the St. Germain Blue Doors. The shade of blue combined with the architecture is just stunning!
Of all the lovely new calendars, I love Monet's Garden the very best as I dream of visiting there one day.
Thank you again for sharing your gifts!

I've already checked out your new shop and I love several of the photos… particularly the Ferris Wheel and Luxembourg Gardens and the Paris Flower Market. The calenders are gorgeous – I have my eye on the Monet's Garden calendar for my mom – she loves it there and is a watercolor artist herself. ::Jill
Oh, and I've been a follower for some time now!

Lovely photographs. For three years I had a Gardens Illustrated calender but they didn't produce one last year. Your David Austin calender would be a perfect replacement. My favourite Paris photograph is the Paris Garden.

Your travels and hard work have certainly paid off, congratulations on this and your new shop.
My favourite is the blue door.

Oh my goodness all the Paris photographs and the calenders are stunning, I wish I had a long list of people and limitless funds so I could buy them all for Christmas. If I was lucky enough to win I would love to have Notre Dame with the moon. Off to look at the calenders again now, so beautiful.
Stella says
At first it's wonderful that you are offering us a chance to win.
My favorite part of the Paris calendar is February. The roses and that bistro chair…sigh…Roses are the flowers of love and Paris is the city of love. And that chair is typically French. This photo is "breathing" a sort of elegance which you can only find in Paris. I love it.
But to be honest; I love ALL your calendars :)
Hugs,
Stella

Ooh Georgianna, how can I choose? I love them all! Should I win I would choose the Peonies Mini Calendar. And I would frame them just as you have.
Shadows of Love would be my choice from the Paris collection. Why? it reminds me of the love our son and daughter-in-law share. They will be celebrating their 3rd wedding anniversary on October 2nd. This photograph would be a wonderful anniversary gift.
The calendars are beautiful! And even if I don't win I shall purchase some for gifts. They are exquisite! Each time I walk into my new craft studio I am greeted by the beautifully framed photographs of France. A wonderful balance of soft color to our desert landscape. Thank you again for finding the time to encourage and inspire all of us who follow your blog and love your work.
