Hello, friends! If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll have had a taste of these summery images but here’s a full serving of flowery, sorbet-colored treats.
So many beautiful field flowers from my dear friend Erin at Floret Flower Farm.
In other news, I’m creating a small fleet of calendars, for 2015 for my shops and for 2016 and 2017 for my publishers. And editing away on my European photos, more of which will appear here very soon. And all while enjoying our garden and the incredible Seattle summer weather. We love traveling all over the world but our summer hearts belong right here.
Wishing you the most lovely week ahead! Thank you for stopping by.
love,
G

Hi Georgianna, how sweet of you to share the beautiful blooms from your garden and from Floret Flower farm. It’s still so strange for me to hear and now also see you’d like your Hydrangeas to stay pink, while over here we would do everything to keep them blue ;)
Enjoy your Seattle summer, must feel like vacation at home for you now. We’ve been having a very stormy summer and lately the weather has turned completely, leaves already blown from the trees, wind, rain, feels like Autumn.
I had never seen chocolate Queen Anne’s lace, amazing, and then your Hydrangeas, and the Achillea, I love Achillea, tried it over and over again when we first moved here but it didn’t work out, had to give up, as with many flowers. From what I see here and on their own blog, Floret Flower farm must be like heaven on earth. So many different and healthy flowers, one even more beautiful than the other! Although you have a little paradise right home as well, beautiful variety of flowers!
Beautiful post Georgianna! Wonderful photography!
Hope the Seattle summer lasts and lasts and lasts for you, enjoy it!

Oh what a bounty of Summer beauty! Absolutely glorious… love all the creative ways you have found to photograph them G. Chocolate Queen Anne’s Lace? Beautiful… that is a new one to me also.
I have cleared out some giant old Boxwoods to the front of the house to make room for Butterfly bushes, Coneflower, Monarda and Russian Sage. Also have a Hummingbird feeder there too. Can’t wait till it all grows in! Come by my facebook page to see my attempts at capturing those tiny speedy Hummingbirds.
Wishing you many more days of a happy & lovely Summer dear G…

I am a BIG fan of your photography and evey post is a wonderful opportunity to sit down, relax and enjoy. One of my favorite places to stop by after a busy day. I am smitten; I especially love that tray filled with little vases and flowers is my fave. The colors of the flowers, glass and the composition made me sigh and stare. If you bring me that tray I;ll cook you dinner and serve coffee with home made cake, pie and sweets after dinner:)
Wow!
