Bonjour! May I have your input?
Throughout the years, many painters and illustrators have created works based on my images. I’ve always wanted to explore this and recently have been collaborating with a wonderful watercolorist named Christine Detrick, who has created paintings based on two of my best-loved images. I am truly excited and fascinated to see my vision of Paris come to life in a different medium.
But I could very much use your assistance! I am considering producing limited edition prints of these paintings on fine art watercolor paper and offering them in the shop. The editions will be very exclusive and very small, 20 prints or so in each of 3 sizes. Pricing would be comparable to my current prints but probably slightly higher due to the heavier textured paper.
Your feedback is, as always, a vital part of this process. Please let me know in comments your thoughts on this project and if you’d like to be on the list to be notified when it launches.
Thank you!
xx

Keri Barrett says
Watercolor has always been my favorite medium and I purchase prints often; however, I feel your architectural photos would be best suited here. The floral photographs are just too stunning to be presented in any other medium and watercolor wouldn’t do Mother Nature justice. Please keep me informed on architectural watercolor renderings of your work. I would love to add to my collection!
georgianna says
Hi Keri and thank you so much for your reply. I really do appreciate your thoughtful comments on the architectural renderings in watercolor. I will definitely let you know when they are ready to launch! x G
Vicki says

Sandy Bezanson says
I very much appreciate water colour prints and have several. Your vibrant photography is not quite a match to me with the prints you showed, if I may be so blunt as to say so. There may be some of your photos which suit the style better perhaps. The way in which your flair for showing the beauty of nature resonates with me would be rather difficult to attain with a water colour, I fear. Although I applaud your venturing into a new artistic medium, the prints can’t compare to how your photos capture the life of the cities and flowers
