Thank you to each of you for your comments on my last post! Very much appreciated. I haven’t seen the rascals again but we do hear them at night. :)
Much more to come – D came home Tuesday (yay!), the badminton net has been retrieved from the attic in preparation for this year’s tourney and I’m out shooting every day!
Have a lovely weekend!

Are these flowering in your garden now? The Lily of the Valley (love them!) are almost in bloom here too…things happen so fast in the nature at the moment (we had some beautiful weather lately). Gorgeous captures and beautifully displayed. Have fun shooting and playing badminton! xo

Hi Karin!! Most of these are from the garden, except the camellia and the first tulip. We have Lily of the Valley all over our property. I cut huge handfuls for bouquets. And everything is growing very fast here, too. Have a great weekend! xo – g

SUCH fabulous colour combinations, I loved the blues against the pink. x

Hi everyone, thank you so much!
Cindy, the backgrounds are either a) a hand painted plate I got for $3.00 or b) Punch Studio designer paper napkins that I also got on sale (at Marshall's). If you get the big ones, they make great backdrops. :)

This is such a stunning post. The unexpected, rich and patterned backgrounds somehow make the beauty of the flowers even more stunning and obvious. WOW!! Are you photographs in a museum yet? They will be, my friend. They will.

Love, love, LOVE these, Georgianna! The backdrops are amazing! Our lilies of the valley have faded, and now the air is perfumed with wild roses — about 10 days early here… it's been a strange spring, weather-wise. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend! xoxo

Hi Georgianna,
I love all the beautiful photos again today. It is amazing what you can do with a single flower!
I spent some time going through your old posts to enjoy the beauty from before I found you-I totally enjoyed myself here again.
I am a little envious of how long your garden season is compared to ours. I also saw a post on your Mom where you mentioned she was in her eighties and I was shocked because she looks so young and lovely too.
I get inspired every time I visit!
Take care,
Carolyn
