Thank you for all the lovely comments about my new bicycle!
(For those interested, I found it on Craigslist. There was a similar one on eBay but with shipping it would have cost twice as much. Although there are some good ones to be found there.)
Hope you enjoyed the day as much as I did!

Well, I sure wish I would have had a beautiful girl and a purple bike to strategically place in my photos…lol.

Dear Georgianna, Love the poppies and lavender combination. Wish I lived closer so that I could pick lavender for $5.
Now I can see why the bicycle had to be purple. Beautiful shots, every one of them.

Oh my, I just have a soft spot for purple shades, lavender field, oh my, how lovely, I just want to sleep on that bed of purple. Thanks for the info, it is a pity that I just moved to the west coast from NYC a month ago, other wise, I would just drive there for the festival, I need to find one nearby now. Thanks for these lovely eye candies. I love it a lot!

From a lover of lavender, this is over the top G. You've given it the recognition it deserves and your props just enhance it that much more.
I'd love to visit this festival but I'm sure I'd need a deep pockebook.

What beautiful summer pictures, love lavender <¨
Georgianna says
Thank you so much, everyone! Wish we could all meet up in the fields for a heavenly, fragrant afternoon! Lovely weekend to each of you. xo
Judith, it's really only about 1 1/2 hours from Seattle so it's an easy day trip. Although it's best to go right before or right after the Festival as it gets very crowded and for me, kind of spoils the atmosphere. I prefer to go mid week when the fields are empty. Then I can kind of pretend I'm in Provence! :)

An amazing place for an amazing photo shoot! :) Totally love this post Georgianna! So romantic in every way. Thank you for asking about the rose. It's an historical gallica rose called L'Evêque. It's one of my fave roses. Flowers on time per year but for a very long time. :) Have a great week ahead! xo
