Random photos from the weekend.

A long walk in a nature preserve.
Where hydrangeas pretend to be butterflies…
Blue and crystal in the dining room, reflecting sunshine.
And mixed in with the dreamy moments, productive ones, too – the video edit completed, house guests entertained, new products designed and fun new props purchased. Hmm, something indeed to be said for the momentum of a long weekend.

What a luscious collection of images, I think I love that last one of the pale blue hydrangeas in glass bottles the most, it's just so delicate and soft. Also, nice lensbaby work, you really have the hang of it!
Beautiful dreamy shots from your weekend. Especially love the ones from the beach. I assume you took them with your lens baby!? :) Great shots! We had a sunny weekend here too and I spent my Sunday on the beach too. Wonderful!
Have a great week! xo
oh me. oh my! i love each and every one of these images, but i have to say your interpretation of the hydrangea butterflies is stunning. i see them flitting around! i do, i do. dreamy………o.k what is this "lens baby" and how do i get one?
Absolutely stunning. Thanks for sharing.
What a lovely post! Your words were perfect as were your images.
Thank you so much, my friends. I'm glad you enjoyed these images! Since I've had some questions on them, the beach scenes and the bridge were shot with a Lensbaby Composer. The rest were shot with a 60mm f/2.8 macro lens on maximum aperture, all hand held except the chandelier which was shot usin a tripod. xo
So gorgeous!
Beautiful as always! Good work with the Lensbaby… it's really tricky + I still need loads of practice with it:) Enjoy the week, hope it's as dreamy as your weekend at the beach! x
i've been wanting and needing to go to the beach all summer long but didn't get a chance to, sadly. your photos are amazing, as always! it really teleports me straight to that beach of yours. :) that little enchanted bridge photo is absolutely dreamy, g! not only are you brilliant at snapping beautiful photos of flowers and trinkets, but of sceneries as well – the beach!
